This colourful HiLo chair appeals to modern aesthetics and keeps toddlers well seated – from 6 months to 6 years. At first, the dual-height chair looks basic with its one-piece molded plastic seat and wild cherry wood folding legs. But in one easy step, the seatbelt-clad chair swivels from high chair to under-table chair. From its plastic tray lip to the nylon wheels, each design feature is strategic, clever and understated.

With the introduction of the HiLo chair, AGE Design raises the standard in children’s furniture design. The first of several children’s products to be introduced by this young design firm, the HiLo chair marries intelligent design with contemporary styling.

“The HiLo chair is intended to win people over gently, with intelligent and simple solutions rather than attention-grabbing bravura and complicated features,” says Geneviève Grenier, design partner. “As industrial designers, my husband Patrice and I simply want to achieve a better chair. By better, we don’t just mean more attractive or more functional, but all-around better at being part of the human environment.”
